Shapes In Motion was founded in 2010 by actor and movement & acting coach Sarah Perry. Sarah has worked professionally since 1998. More recently, since 2008, Sarah has worked within the visual effects industry in various tutoring/coaching capacities on a freelance basis, with recent clients including The Moving Picture Company (MPC) and Double Negative (Dneg).
Sarah was so inspired by the animators and visual effects artists whom she met during her time at MPC that it is thanks to them that Shapes In Motion was born.
At this time Shapes In Motion is run solely by Sarah, but in the future she hopes to invite a global network of acting and movement professionals to offer services specifically to the visual effects industry through Shapes In Motion. Sarah's teaching includes Movement for Actors and Yoga and she has a particular interest in Movement Directing for Motion Capture.
