Something extremely magical about creatives coming together, forming a strong & supportive community and enabling a safe and inspiring space to move, play, create and get curious.

Thank you to ALL who attended yesterdays workshop day, your commitment, energy, creativity and supportiveness towards one another was a pure joy to see.

Thank you @stmoynihan and @tanztheater_adrian_look for your inspirational teachings, and to @phoebestapleton and @phoebe_l_hyder for your creative contributions in the Movers & Makers session and of course to EVERYONE who took part throughout the day. Well bloody done!

Why I love our Movers & Makers workshops so much, you never quite know what you are going to get. So excited for this weekend. We have an opening!

This workshop is a journey of exploration and experimentation like no other and open to all professional movers and makers of movement.. We offer you the space, the time and other bodies and minds to share, explore discuss and play with.

Jump for joy!
Having spent years working with literally thousands of actors, movers, makers, animators …. its time to get this teenage party started (now Shapes in Motion is 13)

Soon I shall be revealing the new, refreshed and I'm so excited for it website, I can't wait to show you.
In the meantime, if you are an actor, movement specialist, mover or maker and would like to ask me any questions about me, my creative work, the industry, movement, mocap, Shapes in Motion, how to join as a member of our Movers & Makers Troupe, I'll be online this Sunday between 10-11am to answer any questions you may have.

Movement, Mocap, Membership?

What insights do you need right now, what questions will be useful for you to ask? What industry advice can I share with you? Lets chat some of this through. We shall have an hour together for you to ask me what you wish (within reason of course).

Do you have a question for me about my work, the industry or Shapes in Motion? What are you curious about? What is important for you to know more about right now? Is there a way I can support you or a question you have always wanted to ask me?

I'm happy to delve into my creative work, my businesses, chat about Movement, Mocap, Performance, Movement Direction, Shapes in Motion … as long as we stay relatively on point, I'm up for it.

I would also love to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the Troupe and our ever growing Shapes in Motion Community. Our soon to be launched Troupe Membership will be opening very soon, so I'd love to share with you more about this and answer any questions you may have: are you a good fit? what is the criteria for joining, what are the benefits, what does it mean to be a Troupe member and why should you join?

Who needs to be woken up with Movement?

We have some fab movement mornings planned for you this Autumn & Winter and beyond both in the studio and online.

Coming up we have the amazing @stmoynihan Stephen will guide you through a movement exploration on Sunday the 24th September 9.30-10.30am at Sadler's Wells.

Inspired by #barteniefffundamentals this session will take you from floorwork to standing, moving through space, focusing on connections through the body, exploring tension and release, as well as relating to other bodies and to the space around you.

This session is for actors, movers, makers and anyone who wants to wake up with movement with us. A great warm up if you are heading into our full workshop day.
