Shapes In Motion is a training, coaching and mentoring organisation run by movement director and coach Sarah Perry. Our website address is www.shapesinmotion.com.
You can contact us by emailing info@shapesinmotion.com. By using the Shapes in Motion and Troupe membership websites, our website terms and conditions apply.
Workshop and Events
Individual Workshops and Events in the studio and online sold directly through the Shapes in Motion website, will have their specific terms and conditions attached to each individual checkout page for you to read and agree to at the time of booking. By booking on to a Shapes in Motion workshop or event, you agree to our terms and conditions. Our refund policies will be stated in such terms and conditions and may also appear on individual workshop and events sales pages in the FAQ section, towards the bottom of the page.
Troupe Membership
By creating an account, viewing videos, making a purchase, downloading Producer-branded applications that we power, or otherwise visiting or using any Shapes in Motion Service, you accept this Agreement and consent to contract with us electronically. If you are an entity other than a natural person, the person who registers the account or otherwise uses the Troupe Membership Service must have the authority to bind the entity. In this context, “you” means both the entity and each person who is authorized to access the account.
We may update this Agreement by posting a revised version on our website. By continuing to use the Troupe Membership Service, you accept any revised Agreement.
You may terminate the Agreement at any time by deleting your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for your breach of the terms hereof. If Shapes in Motion deletes your account for breach, you may not re-register.
By signing up to Troupe membership you agree not to share any links to the protected Member Site assets, like images and videos. Shapes in Motions’ content is protected by copyright laws. Shapes in Motion’s content on or offline, i.e. in handouts, videos’, pdf’s, images, cannot be used for commercial purposes by others or claimed as your own.
Refunds are not available on either our monthly or annual subscriptions to Troupe membership. By signing up to our Troupe membership, you accept this agreement. You can cancel your subscription at any time via your personal account. However, If you decide to re-join, you will need to wait till the next Troupe membership is in an open cart period and pay the then agreed and latest subscription fees. If you stay within the membership, your monthly or annual fee will remain locked in during the lifetime of your membership and for as long as Troupe Membership through Shapes in Motion is available.
Registration
You must create an account to use certain features we offer (e.g., to sign up to Troupe Membership). To do so, you must provide a name and email address. By creating an account, you agree to receive notices from Shapes in Motion and the Producers of the Programs you purchase at this email address. You must keep your email address valid and current so that we are able to contact you.
By signing up to Troupe membership you confirm and declare that you are a member of Spotlight, equity or equivalent. That you are a professional: Actor, Performer, Mover, Dancer, Movement Specialist, Choreographer, Movement Director, Director, Movement Tutor, Movement Therapist or Movement Artist. If you're keen to join the Troupe but are not sure if you're eligible, please just get in touch via email and we can discuss your suitability for this membership. If you join and you do not fit the criteria, Shapes in Motion has the right to terminate your account and you will not be eligible for a refund.
Age Requirements
You may not create an account or book onto a workshop or event with Shapes in Motion if you are younger than 18 years of age. By creating an account or signing up to an event, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
Account Security
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including unauthorized activity. You must safeguard the confidentiality of your account credentials and may not share your account credentials with anyone. If you are using a computer that others have access to, you must log out of your account after each session. If you become aware of unauthorized access to your account, you must change your password and notify us immediately.
Membership Forum Terms of Use
This is not a place to sell or self promote your or others services unless you get admin permission to do so. You can however mention productions that you are in, in the appropriate category,. Shapes in Motion has the right to delete any posts at any time, and cancel your membership with immediate effect.
Please remember that we are not responsible for any message posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this forum. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise volatile of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this forum.
We use Stripe and Stripe express for our payment services and Stripes own terms and conditions may also apply. Payment methods accepted include all major credit cards and Apple Pay.
Our terms are governed by UK laws.
